Have just returned home from this apartment. It really is like a home from home. Everything you could possibly need. The owners Alison and Gary are so nice and feel more like family now. The cleaners are great the apartment is spotless and they have been on time on arrival and on leaving. I will miss the beautiful sea view and the sound and smell of the sea! We will be back. Also the location is excellent a couple of minutes from the beach. Thanks again Alison and Gary.

Just want to say thank-you to Gary and Alison for a great weekend with my wife and two kids (age 6 & 4). We found the apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the utensils you could wish for. The living/dining/kitchen area is spacious. The apartment has a modern feel and it was lovely. Even though the apartment is one row back from the sea we still had a great view of the sea/promenade from the living room balcony/window.
It is a 2nd floor apartment but there is a lift so is still ideal for anyone who may have mobility problems. A few paces from the apartment and you can walk onto a very short path onto the promenade(no more than 20 metres or so from the apartment)
As the apartment is modern and spotless at the time of writing... if you are someone who would look after the apartment as if it was your own then look no further as this was a great find and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who may be thinking of a visit to the North Coast.
The location of the apartment was ideal i.e. at the start of the Portstewart coast road from Portrush. It meant we were within walking distance of the centre of Portrush along the Promenade and a short drive or cycle along the coast road to Portstewart, which offers some great scenic views.
For Portrush you do not really need a car. There is also a train station very close by (Dhu Varren). We had a car but I am sure a bus would take you to Portstewart in no more than 5 to 10 minutes.
There are also some great options nearby for eating out Harry's Shack(book in advance), Ramore (can't book, ensure you go early as usually busy from opening time), Tides and 55 North to name a few. Not forgetting Morrellis in Portstewart.
Thank-you for a lovely stay. Found the owners to be very pleasant which also helped. Made us feel very welcome.
