just home from a lovely week spent in your farmhouse. its not very often when on holidays that we are disappointed to be going home but we could easily have stayed another week in this beautiful property. so well appointed you have thought of everything you could possibly need when you go self-catering. our 4 dogs had an absolute ball between your fields and runs on the beach daily. we will definitely be back again!

Thank you for your lovely review. The dogs and you are very welcome back. Don't forget to ask for your 10% returning guest discount when booking subsequent trips.
By the way the Farmhouse is lovely for a 3 night break in the winter, with the underfloor heating being a favourite feature of most dogs and cats.

So glad that your two year old enjoyed the garden and the farm. All year around it is a special place - even in winter if that means real fires and underfloor heating, with a movie in the cosy living room.
The icing on the cake is that returning guests get 10% off the published rate on future visits.

What a fantastic farmhouse. The photos do not do it justice. We were sorry to leave. We had a peaceful and pleasant stay. Great communication with the owners who gave us some great tips/ideas. Recommend

“Charming old farmhouse cottage with everything you could want”

We spent a week in June in this lovely holiday cottage. We were warmly greeted and given an excellent welcome pack. The standard of cleanliness was very high and the cottage is light airy and very spacious. There was constant hot water and fresh towels. The fires were all set for us, but luckily we had beautiful weather and we did not have to light them, there is also under floor heating.
We had our two dogs with us and they were also well catered for with dog beds, water bowls and treats.
The setting is beautiful and we were allowed to roam freely in the 30 acres. The cottages is very close to beautiful beaches and stunning attractions like the Giants Causeway.
We would highly recommend this cottage for couples and families.

Great time here ,will be back.DV.Tripadvisor site is a pain sometimes won't let you put in a small review .I have already said how great our time was here but you have to write that again and expand it by writing stuff that doesn't even relate because Tripadvisor won't let you put just a few lines which totally describes your stay ,ho hum .

Thanks for your review showing you loved the place, and will be back.
I particularly liked your workaround for TripAdvisor's frustrating requirement that reviews are a particular length.
Next visit be sure to ask for your 10% returning guest discount.

“Best holiday accommodation ever !”

What can i say about Huston Farmhouse without sounding gushing and insincere ? I probably cant . This farmhouse is absolutely faultless. Wonderful place , so homely, so fresh, ideally placed for anyone who loves the country , and yet only a couple of miles from the town of Portrush.

Firstly, the farmhouse itself. The moment you drive up the drive, its just a homely feel. We were shown round, and to say we were thrilled , doesn't cut it ! Its fabulous. Spotless, homely, fresh and given its a dog friendly property, it just made it even better.

All women in the party, just wanted to book time out in the bathroom upstairs. Its amazing! The bedrooms were large, bright and comfortable. The lounge with its vaulted ceiling , homely, tranquil yet filled with family memories, past and presently being made. The kitchen , and the snug to me were just the best ever. Our family came together over that large farmhouse table, talking, eating , chatting, playing games. My hubby adored the cooking range. The underfloor heating made it cosy throughout the week.

We were left a welcoming basket . Coffee, tea, milk, bread, biscuits, etc. they went out their way. Very much appreciated after the journey from Scotland.

Towels are aplenty, linen already on the beds. Just go in and immediately start your holiday .

This farmhouse actively encourages doggy guests, and by, were they catered for . Beds, bowls, but the fact they were allowed to run in the fields, what an absolute joy to see them go. They had a fantastic time.

If you read my other reviews, you can see im down to earth, and i say it as it is. This farmhouse.....well suffice to say I was nearly in tears when we drive down that drive for the last time.

We would highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone, with dogs or not. We did alot of travelling about , and the area is outstandingly beautiful. The sunsets from the fields behind are amazing. My last photo has not been photoshopped or anything .

Thank you for providing us with such good accommodation and hospitality .

Thank you so much for such a fulsome and generous review. It is a shame you cannot make it over more often, but when you do there is a 10% discount for returning guests. The photos you posted are amazing - love the sunset and seeing your lovely dogs.
As a child we had an English Springer and I was not allowed past the top of the yard (where there is now a chain). I strayed too far (probably age 5 or 6) and Judy the dog caught my sleeve in her teeth and brought me back to the house. So I guess I have a soft spot for spaniels!
In the two weeks after your visit we replaced all the blinds in the house with a lighter pattern and new fittings. The blinds now show some quirky sheep and look even better.
Come back soon.

“Pawfect cottage”
Reviewed April 22, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I stayed here with my parents, my husband, our teenage daughter and our 4 dogs. It was perfect for all of us. Downstairs twin for my parents after my mum's knee surgery. Snug living room for daughter to watch TV, play on wii, and avoid adults. Fab upstairs suite for us. And wonderfully cosy but easy to clean floors for the dogs! We were blessed with lovely weather so the dogs were on the beach every day, although the fields were very handy for quick morning and evening runs. Very close to everything! Boys managed 4 rounds of golf!
We will be back, especially as my husband found it's right on the North West 200 course.
