Apart from the lack of parking, everything else was great. Friendly people, clean facilities, little extras like a private outdoor area, cooking items like condiments and food items plus tea and coffee at any time as well as breakfast.

We arrive early in the morning, quite a few hours before check in time, and the hosts were very friendly and let us leave out bags safely in the hostel while we explored Portrush. Around check in time we were shown to our clean, functional, and comfortable room. We went for dinner right around the corner at a fantastic (and busy) restaurant right on the water. The next morning, after getting the expert knowledge and advice from portrush hosts we went out an explored the attractions, hikes and sights The hosts had excellent insight and were able to explain the surrounding area to us very well, they seemed to have a lot of first hand experience, despite how busy the hostel was te hosts still had time to help and be friendly - they also let us leave out luggage at the hostel while we went hiking.

I would definitely recommend staying at the Port Rush Holiday Hostel, I only wish I'd stayed longer!

I felt that we were VERY lucky to find the Portrush Holiday Hostel after our plans to stay with a friend in Cork fell through and we had to make other arrangements for our trip to Ireland on very short notice--and very short funds! Of course, it's a hostel, so nothing too fancy, but we had our own room, which was very clean and comfortable, and the owners are incredibly warm, inviting and helpful--SO glad we took their advice about which trail along the coast to hike--it was one of the best experiences of my life so far! Easy walking distance from the train station (like everything in Portrush...) and located right at the beginning of the wild and beautiful peninsula--definitely worth a wander!

The Hostel was neat and clean and the staff were very helpful. We had a family room with attached shower and toilet. It is located near the center, close to shops, yet it was very quite at night. with breakfast included it was good value for the price.

I have stayed in the Portrush Holiday Hostel three times now, and have had a fantastic experience all three times. The owners are very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were kind enough to help us plan our hikes along the coast, recommended very tasty restaurants and even helped with the bus schedule. The hostel is in a very convenient location, and you can work virtually anywhere in the town within 5 minutes. It is also close to the bus that takes you to the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills distillery, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, etc. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and they also provide everything you need (blankets, towels, etc.). All of the times I have stayed, it has been quiet and easy to sleep. I would recommend this hostel for anyone traveling to Portrush.

Its a really good Hostel. You are totally close to the Ocean. Everybody is so nice and everthing was really clean :) We totally enjoyed staying :) You have to work just 5 minutes to get to the harbour on the one side and to such a beautiful beach on the other side. 5-10 minutes far away is a Spar, and 20 minutes far away by foot is a Lidl. There is a sweet Harbour Pub, where you can spend some time in the evening. In the Hostel you can watch TV in a living room. The kitchen is big enough to cook your food. You can wash your clothes as well and you have free Wi-Fi.
