Booked this hotel on recommendation only to discover I’d got the booking completely wrong.
Gillian couldn’t have been more helpful in trying to get my booking sorted and provided customer service way beyond what was expected. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely time when we stayed it was for only one night. They had travel cot ready for us when we arrived and check in was quick, amenities were great. It was off peak time so barrys was shut but we had fun in the other amusements so town wasn't packed which was nice.

On arrival at the Port Hotel we were greeted by a friendly smiling receptionist i believe her name was gillian. Shown to our room which was warm clean and spacious. Food in the bistro is freshly cooked and tssty and not over priced. The bar has a cosy atmosphere and if your into karaoke this is the place for you.

Just called in on the way past for a thirst quencher. Attracted by the number of people in it and the happy sounds emanating from within. Spent an enjoyable hour being involved in the craic and friendly atmosphere.

we stayed here for one night. glad hadn"t booked 2 nights. says free wifi. none in rooms and restaurant, bar. the room was large, comfy beds. the downside about the hotel was the room was cold. the radiator in the room off our big room didnt work. the heating was only on for a short time. the next morning there was no warm water. the food was not bad . pepper sauce was watery. chips frozen. a open fire to heat 2 large rooms. we where freezing. had to go to another bar to warm up. breakfast was gd, the wee girl with blonde hair and glasses was a amazing worker. she was whizzing around at all times cleaning and checking tables. well done to hiring a great worker. wouldnt like to return when the weather gets colder. only thing i b using the shower to get warm water.

Room tip: not room 8. looking out at roofs.
