Have visited here for lunch many times but never reviewed it. Called for lunch on Monday and Tuesday last [10/11 June]. Not busy on both dates. Seated as soon as we entered and drinks order taken and served within a few minutes. Friendly staff without being overbearing.
Good choice of lighter meals with more substantial main courses should you wish. I had an excellent steak on Italian bread with loads of onions in batter and pepper sauce on the side. This cost an amazing £6.80. I had a prawn salad on the second visit served with 2 slices of the best wheaten I have ever eaten. Again a great meal for under £6.00. My wife had pasta dishes on both dates which she could not finish. She raves about the pasta and has nothing else every time she visits. Again these were in the £6.00 range. We feel we should try other places but it is impossible to tear ourselves away from here the standard is so good with great staff.
