“Bistro - so good we had to go back a second time for more”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

Could not get into the Resturant upstairs but went to the Bistro, had to take a ticket and wait for about 30 mins, Had 3 courses for £10.00 however it cost on average about £14.00 each including drinks and some extras as the kids wanted starters which were not included in the kids menu, the food was really good and we were served quickly, Good value for money and staff were very efficient and friendly.

“Try Elsewhere”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

Travelled to the area in July 2014 and came for dinner. Waited over 30 minutes for a table. As we had no reservation, the wait time was expected. However, there is nowhere to sit while waiting. The bar had only 5 chairs.

The restaurant is very warm as there is no air conditioning.

Food was mediocre. Nothing special. We wish we had eaten elsewhere.

“Really disappointed”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

I visited this restaurant on Thursday 24th as I was staying in the area.Restaurant was busy and really warm due to lack of air conditioning.Staff very friendly but the food was really bad.Very limited choice for a restaurant in a seaside resort ie very few fish choices.I ordered the mussels as a main course and they were freezing cold. They were replaced but the replacement fish and chips was very bland.Really disappointed with 55 degrees north and will not be back.Views from restaurant were really good but the food is really bad.Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

“Don't waste your time or ££”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

Seated at 7.45pm.
Drinks & food order taken at 8.05pm (20 mins later).
Drinks arrived warm and without ice at 8.15pm (30 mins later) ...not a pleasant experience dining with children.
Requested ice for drinks & was given 1 x glass with ice cubes.
Food arrived at 8.35pm (50 mins later).
Quality - school dinners at best.
Requested Parmesan cheese for my pasta dish & was told it was £1 ...never arrived.
Wife was told chicken was coated in batter, but arrived coated in breadcrumbs and tough.
Restaurant was like a sauna, waiting staff were glum & lacked knowledge of menu.
Overheard other diners complaining about the drink & food waiting times.
Meal experience - worst for well over 10 years.
Opinion - Don't waste your time or money.
