Be aware no reservations are taken and you are invited to put name down and wait to be called in one of the bars - your number is called out on a tannoy and it works efficiently.

You must order at the bar but service was quick and pleasant. We had crispy breads and dips as a shared starter which was lovely. Then steaks, burgers and fish of the day which was particularly well received. No dessert as we were too full.

Altogether a fun venue but not the place for an intimate chat.

Everytime we visit the north coast we love to visit the bistro in the Harbour Bar - simply excellent food in great surroundings and really good value. One of our favourite places to eat in Northern Ireland!

We usually head here for a no-nonsense great value roast dinner at a reasonable price. There are other more adventurous items on the menu which we try if we're in the mood which are also good. A no-frills place to eat with good food and service. Recommended

A wonderful old Irish pub. Lovely fire in the back room. The Bistro is a bit confusing - you can't book a table, you order your food from the bar as there is no table service and you pay before you get your food which presumably means they don't expect any tips... which is strange for a restaurant these days. However once you figure out how it works it's great. Loads of food and not very expensive.

I recently enjoyed an excellent dinner in this newly refurbished restaurant, adjacent to the beautiful West Strand at Portrush. From 'checking in' until final payment of the bill it was a thoroughly positive experience. The changes are to be applauded and the staff are very customer orientated (one would think that this is an oxymoron but that is not my experience in other hostelries!). Well done to all concerned!
