if you in Cushendall and looking lunch or dinner, Harry's is the place to go! We always eat in Harrys, i normally get the burger & we fries and my wife would get the chicken carbonara. Always left satisfied and always an empty plate!

Truth be told, we opted for Harry's as we were after a seafood chowder and we had found they had it in their menu. The reviews on tripadvisor were also very good so there was no further research.

The restaurant advertises itself online and on its outer walls as one serving just fresh fish. This may well be the case, the chowder was indeed awsome, but it doesn't really have the menu of a fish restaurant, with fish featuring just as battered cod, battered scampi and a couple of salmon fillets, the rest being lamb, beef and a whole menu section for burgers. In general, it is quite hard to find anything healthy or simply not heavy. After the chowder we had the battered cod (ie fish & chips) and tried the stuffed mushrooms, which came deep fried.

Portions are big, the quality is alright, and setting is really well-finished with modern style decor, it's a good high level pub, i'm just not sure i'd call it a fish restaurant.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of my Restaurant I am delighted you enjoyed our fresh seafood chowder. I would respectfully like to point out that we do not advertise our restaurant as just serving fish, our logo clearly states, "Cafe Bar Bistro" We offer a wide range of choices on our daily and evening menus to suit everyones tastes including many healthy options. We do have a banner advertising Our range of fish which includes Sea bass, Smoked Haddock, Monkfish, Crayfish, Scallops, Cod, Prawns, Smoked Mackerel, Trout, Local Lobster, Salmon, Scampi.... all arrives and prepared daily. I believe this is quite a large range of fish for a small village restaurant.

Kind Regards

We went to this restaurant based upon TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. The service was very good and quick despite being very busy. I had the cod in beer batter and it was excellent. The shared starter of the seafood platter is a must and my wife and I really enjoyed it. We visited this restaurant twice during the week and it was the best place in Northern Ireland for food. We drank Guinness throughout the week and it is always a good pint wherever you go. We were recommended to try Smithwicks beer by a local and Harry's had it on tap, it was an excellent pint that you must try.

The place is intimate (read "small:) so being there before it fills up especially on a Saturday night is important. Great steaks and chicken, and Harry the owner is a very genuine person. Nice Irish pub atmosphere. This is a family place, so prepared for some little children while you are eating dinner.

A Great Welcome from friendly, efficient staff. The dishes were well presented, generous portions.
Excellent Value. The restaurant has a contemporary yet rustic ambiance; ideal for any relaxed dining experience.
I can thoroughly recommend any of the fish dishes, especially the Seafood Platter.
As has 2Wander2.
