“Really good hotel - great base for business”
Reviewed October 17, 2008

Stayed at the hotel from Monday to Friday on Business.
The hotel is at a great location right on the roundabout and access to all major a roads and motorways.

I was no further than an hour away from anywhere in Northern Ireland really and would definitely recommend this hotel for business users.

Wi fi is all over the hotel from your rooms to the lobby to the bar. albeit it the download sepped is avergae it definitely did the job.

The food in the bar/grill area is exceptional and good portions. The breakfats in the morning again are very good.

Rooms are large, clean and good. Shower was a poer shower and you ;look forward to it every morning.

All in all a very good hotel that I would stay in again.

Check-in time advertised as 2pm. Our rooms were not ready until 4pm on the day we arrived! In the meantime we had to sit in the Bar/Grill and buy drinks and food.

Rooms were always clean. One of the bedside lamps did not work but was replaced the following day, the pillows were terrible (thin bag of lumps), the hot and cold water came and went when using the shower or the sink taps, yet the pressure from the shower head was too concentrated to be comfortable.

Tried the hotel "restaurant" the first night, we didn't return. It had the "same menu as the Bar/Grill we just put on 40p or 50p more" according to the waiter! We were asked if we'd booked a table and when we said no, we were told (by the same waiter) we should have booked at reception that morning as it would be really busy..... great if we had the benefit of ESP or time travel, as we'd only arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm that day! The food itself was poor and we were deafened and frozen by the restaurant's air conditioning.

Breakfast was fully self service at the weekend due to the number of guests. It returned to waiter service on week days which allowed for a more civilized start to the day.

Despite the hotel being situated on a roundabout connecting major roads, noise was not a problem.

My son, his partner and my 6 month old grandson stayed here last week when they were visiting from Scotland and they LOVED the place. We live locally and have dined in the hotel restaurant many times but this is the first time it has been necessary for any of our family to stay in the hotel. But it won't be the last after the wonderful stay they have just enjoyed there! The room was lovely and spacious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming - a real home from home and as for the food - the food was superb and the service excellent. Location is also excellent and for those of you who want to see the Glens of Antrim it is superbly placed whilst at the same time, there is an excellent bus service into the centre of Belfast which goes down the M2 and you are from hotel into Belfast city centre in 15 mins! My son and his family were there for 6 nights and could easily and happily have stayed for much longer as they had a superb time at Corrs Corner. RECOMMENDED TO ALL!!

We stayed at the Corr's Corner hotel for a week in June '08 and we were delighted with our stay. It was fantastic in every way and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Northern Ireland. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very homely and incredibly comfortable. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay.

My partner and I were staying with our young son, who is nearly six months old. The staff, who were always very polite and courteous, made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. It's always refreshing to see a high standard of customer service, and it helped make this a memorable stay for us.

The breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast bar was very well presented. There was a great variety on the menu; the food was of a very high quality. The cooked breakfast, in particular, was top-notch.

The Corriander Restaurant, where we ate every night, was fantastic. The hotel is close to a lot of eateries, but we ended up having our dinner in the hotel restaurant every night. That's only because the food was so good. I was visiting family, so know that the food here was better than anywhere else I had tried in the locale! The dinners were reasonably priced and the restaurant had a nice ambience.

I would recommend that, anyone wishing to visit Belfast (especially those who want a bit more tranquility than the big city Hotels), stay at Corr's Corner. It's situated in a quiet and convenient location. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from a brilliant bus route and 10 minutes walk from the local shops. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Glengormley. The bus ride to Belfast only takes about 15-20 minutes and the buses are very frequent.

Overall, the hotel is a gem and we will be staying here next time we visit. Top marks!

I took my disabled mother to Belfast to see my son and his family. The hotel was lovely with excellent disabled access, ample parking and the food in the restaraunt was fabulous. Breakfast was a joy and the bar was also very accommodating for mum. We would certainly stay there again.
