Have stayed a few times and hotel well located for Aldergrove and for use as a base near Antrim and also for golf. Reception friendly and helpful and rooms quite adequate for price. Housekeeping very helpful with cot, towels and pillows. Also used room service and very efficient. Downside was dinner service in evening. A bad few days with snailspace service in restaurant. Not good with small children. Then moved to bar area but still took an hour to get one course. Again really slow on day two. It seemed that if more than a handful of covers, it descended into chaos. Breakfast was better organised and a pretty good choice. It seemed to attrract masses of people for B& B but not for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay but am tempted next time to try out some alternatives.

I booked a celebration dinner for my mothers 90th birthday and requested a week in advance a birthday cake with happy 90th birthday on it. Throughout the meal the service was appalling from badly trained staff who did not know the menu nor how to serve or remove plates. When the moment came the waiter plonked a small cake in front of my mother with no birthday greeting on it. I hid my disappointment and asked for it to be sliced and served. A small piece arrived with on the edge of each plate a tiny squirt of cream from one of those squirty cans The first taste confirmed worst instincts. This was a very poor quality cake made with chocolate flavouring rather than chocolate and waas very dry and unpleasant. I asked for the left over cake to take home and was duly presented with by the waiter in its original Tesco's own brand celebration cake box. I had my mother ushered out to the carpark and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager offered no apology but simply said that the chef had been too busy to bake a cake and no refund was offered. I was charged £17.95 for a cake that costs £2.99 in Tescos. It is utterly apalling that a manager who must have qualifications in catering or customer service can hold such low standards in what is meant to be a four star hotel as part of the international hilton group. Stay away is my mesage because the rest of the meal was very very basic and lacking ain nay presentatinal standards for instance they served a slice of garlic bread with my main pasta course - tacky or what.

Stayed at the hotel with my fiancee found the hotel its self great facilities were enjoyable. We enquired previously about booking our wedding at the hotel but found the two girls in Sales very unhelpfull, they never got back to us promptly with answers to are questions and when they did seemed to lack knowledge. When we stayed at the hotel we got chatting to two ladies in the function room who were very helpful and answered any questions we had. If we decide to have our wedding at the hotel it will be because of the hotel and the great feedback we have heard and experienced about the food. However I would be nervous to say the least when it comes to dealin with the sales team.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Hiton Templepatrick on Firday 5 March 2010. We booked into a family room that was very impressive. Lovely spacious room with 2 large double beds and a lovely view of the golf course. Very clean and airy room!

We arrived late in the evening and went to the main restaurant for dinner and drinks. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. We then went to the main bar for a few drinks. Again the service was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar was very nice.

On the Saturday morning we made our way to the dining room for breakfast. Breakfast was a help yourself style service and there was a great deal of choice e.g. cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fry, breads, pastries etc.

Following breakfast we made our way to the leisure club and used the pool, sauna and steam room. The leisure club is very modern and a pleasure to use.

All in all the Hilton Hotel in Templepatrick is a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone wishing for a relaxing hotel break.

My girlfriend and I along with another two couples booked into the Hilton Templepatrick for an early Valentines weekend. Checked in on the Friday evening and had a few drinks in the stylishly decorated bar before heading to bed. On the Saturday we had a MASSIVE breakfast, fresh fruit, orange juice, a very tasty Ulster Fry and a cup of coffee to set us up for the day. On the Saturday we took the short trip to the city centre to go shopping, a short journey later and we were met with all the sights and sounds we've come to expect from northern Irelands capital. On our return to the hotel we sat down to a mouthwatering 3 course meal in Treffners, the food and the presentation was amazing, service was great as were the numerous bottles of wine and best of all it was very easy on the pocket! After a few more drinks and after a long day we retired back to our rooms, overlooking the golf course for another great nights sleep. On Sunday, our day of departure the girls in our group spent the day in spa / pool area as the men attempted to take advantage of the weather on the 18 hole golf course. I'll not say anymore about the standard of golf! All in all, great value for money, friendly, efficent and helpful staff, good food, good ameniteis and close to the City without getting caught up in all the hustle and bustle! Would stay again tommorrow!
