Very friendly hotel reception staff make you feel welcome and very professional, The rooms are excellent of good size, very clean and well presented. Food served can be served at the bar or in the main restaurant so you have the choice. The hotel has a gym and fitness centre and spa. The hotel is about 14 miles from Belfast city and local for both airpports

There's a thief working at this hotel and the management covered up her nefarious deed. I had £110 stolen by the cleaning staff but the management chose to side with his employee rather than take the word of a paying guest. I escalated this to the highest authority of the Hilton Hotel Group Worldwide (Christopher Nassetta CEO) but got absolutely nowhere. Seems they are keen to cover up incidents such as this by covering for each other... however my experience has been that I wouldn't stay in another Hilton Hotel again even it were free. Stealing from a paying guest is despicable and beneath contempt... covering it up is worse still!

The Hilton Templepatrick has the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in: Hard and squeaky. I slept fitfully and woke up each morning of my two night stay needing serious stretching to alleviate back pain, which is very unusual for me. That, for me, would be the most significant reason not to book this hotel.
I was taken to the Hilton Templepatrick for a papering spa weekend for my anniversary. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't quite deliver and we will not be returning.

The hotel is nicely situated on a golf course / green area. It was quiet. There's a big car-park and the foyer and lounge are welcoming and nicely decorated. It's a bit of a façade however. Upstairs the corridors are all brown exposed brick: a bit claustrophobic and 1970's. The room it'self was a bit basic, but clean and presentable. There was a big flatscreen TV, tea and coffee (no biscuits!) and the most uncomfortable bed in history. The heating came from a wall mounted heater that, despite the dial, seemed to have two settings: sweltering and off. The ensuite was large but the bath was just your standard home-sized bath. Toiletries were provided.
The room and ensuite was extensively modified for an elderly or disabled guest with multiple red emergency pull chords and stability bars.
The buffet breakfast was pretty nice, with a good selection of food. Unfortunately, my partner had booked a "room only" deal without realising. He was told at reception that it would be £10 per head for breakfast. Then, after breakfast we learned it would be £15.75 each as we had chosen to pay cash on check out for any extras rather than using a credit card. This had not been explained at check in. It was very annoying and we both felt over £30 for breakfast was extortionate. The second morning we drove to Shunters cafe in nearby Templepatrick and had a tasty cooked breakfast for £6.50 each as we didn't want to give the hotel any more money! My advice would be, if you are going to stay here, check your booking carefully and ensure breakfast is included.
Dinner in the Treffner's Restaurant at the hotel was fine. There was a limited menu of mostly fish dishes but while a bit bland, it was nice food. We had one starter, two mains, two desserts, 1 tea, 1 coffee and 1 glass of wine which was almost £70.
The spa / wellbeing centre was our main reason for booking that hotel. The pool and sauna were great. Unfortunately, the steam room was "out of order" when we were there. I also had a massage which was £30 for a 30 minute treatment. While this was a bit more expensive than a comparable treatment in other day spas in the area, it was a really good massage and the therapist was very professional.
The staff throughout the hotel were very polite and service was generally good, apart from the issue with misinformation over the breakfast charge.
Overall I would say that this hotel has pretensions way above its station. While there were positive elements, the painfully hard bed and the overpriced food would put me off going to this, or any Hilton again.

Room was fine but having fully prepaid I then received a bill informing me that my payment was only a deposit. Queried this and it was resolved but no apology given. Breakfast (£10 each with a voucher bought from reception) was of poor quality and long delays in getting the food cooked.

Stayed in the hotel for a night from Friday on Saturday with friends. What a nightmare. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, and when asked for another room, we were told all the beds are the same, and it proved to be true. The bathrooms are dated, not very clean, the toilet holders hang on the screws on the walls.
We had the breakfast brought upstairs. Half of it was missing. We also had dinner in the hotel. You would get better pub food in any pub in the country that would serve food. Stay away from this, unless you have no choice. Definitely not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel.

Room Tip: just stay away from this place unless you don't mind paying a 4 star price for a 1 star B&B...
