“Great bargain”
Reviewed May 5, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The price we paid was to cheap in my eyes for the place we stayed (not complaining) so peaceful it's unreal and a great location for walking, the causeway and bushmills. This is not and never be 5 star but the feel of home away from home makes sure I will book again next time I travel to the causeway

“Loved this little cottage.”
Reviewed November 23, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Close to Bushmills and Giants Causeway, this remote little cottage had everything I wanted, including a wood burning stove. It was warm and cosy and the hostess was polite and helpful. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I rented Molly's Cottage in order to be near the Giant's Causeway. The cottage was clean, well furnished, and in a fantastic location. Lynda was extremely accommodating and even provided us with some basic provisions. The sea is visible from the kitchen window. Although the cottage is very private, it is only 1 m. from Bushmills - a lovely village - and 1 m. from the Gian'ts Causeway. I highly recommend this rental!

“Excellent Stay in Peaceful Surroundings”
Reviewed August 30, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed four nights in August. As has been said in the reviews the cottage is well equiped for your comfort. Lynda was kind enough to provide basic provisions to keep you going but we called in at Lidl and Sainsburys in Coleraine onroute from Derry Airport for wine, bread, milk, muesli, fruit and an early morning Sainsbury breakfast.

Yes the cottage has wine glasses, two forms of fresh coffee devices, microwave and hob. Internet is free and available but you might wish not to use the microwave whilst connected since the connection is via powerline adaptors between the two properties (the microwave took it out whilst running).

There is a considerable mini library of reading material, identification books, novels etc. TV, DVD integral player, radio etc. Effective heating. Comfortable seating etc.

Pleasent views over the fields. The bathroom had a Japanese onson feel with the shingle outside of the window and the views across nature although you were in Northern Ireland not Japan.

It was about two miles to walk into the causeway if you want to save parking costs and be green. You could do the whole causeway circuit by cutting left over the railway track doing the coastal walk approaching from the Bushmills end. Then red path down to the attraction and then the yellow to the second viewing point high up on the cliffs.

Lynda offered to drop us off at assorted points to hike / bus back but since we had a car we declined but kind never the less. You can drive to the northern coast line in both directions from the cottage. Whilst there is a not a full coastal path in Northern Ireland there are sufficient paths that you can find. The NI OS maps for the region cover these or you can find them on Openstreet.

The satnav position of the cottage is 55.21689, -6.505290 whick takes you up a single track road for the last part. Turning point off the road into the drive is 55.21515, -6.507843 which is by the last telegraph post. Useful if you are fully digital and just follow satnav.
