We wanted to visit the Giants Causeway, so we stopped here for afternoon tea and a scone, left the car in the car park (avoiding the rip-off car parking charge at the NT visitor centre next door!), and walked down to the rocks. The service was very pleasant and helpful, and whilst there we saw they had mussels and seafood chowder on the evening menu, so we booked for that evening and came back for dinner.
The food was great, the kitchen and staff very helpful, and the wine and ambience satisfactory. The hotel also appears to be a very pleasant place to stay, quite genteel and with lots of wood panelling and deep carpets. The views are absolutely stunning.
