Owner description: The Causeway Coastal Route is a designated scenic tourist drive around the coast of Northern Ireland between the cities of Belfast and Londonderry. The route follows the coast and takes you to several major tourist attractions along the way including The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, The Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery and the Glens of Antrim. There are also nine scenic loop roads that run off the main Coastal Route. These are: Islandmagee, Slemish Mountain, Glenariff, Glendun, Torr Road, Glenshesk, Bann Valley, Binevenagh Mountain and the Roe Vally. One of these (Torr Scenic Road)is quite narrow so do be careful if your not used to our small roads, one tip is to pull in your wing mirrors on the Torr Road.

The views are incredible especially on a day with some weather. The crashing waves and lots of stops that add to the drive don't forget dunluce castle it was a surprising stop better than I had thought and the town of bushmills is a great place to stay and or stop for refreshments.

We were extremely lucky, arrived there on a sunny afternoon, walked on top of the cliffs until we were worried we wouldn't come back before the sun came down. All the way beautiful sights and the view to the vast wild ocean is just amaing! On the way back, took the stairs/path carved in the hill down to sea and arrived to the hexagonal stones in the rich orange light of the dying sun. The absolute must when you visit Ireland!

The most gorgeous part of Northern Ireland for me. It's so pretty and on clear day you can see Scotland too. Fabulous scenery.

Beautiful drive along the coast. It will be slower but such a pretty way to go if coming from Belfast.
