Owner description: The Causeway Coastal Route is a designated scenic tourist drive around the coast of Northern Ireland between the cities of Belfast and Londonderry. The route follows the coast and takes you to several major tourist attractions along the way including The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, The Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery and the Glens of Antrim. There are also nine scenic loop roads that run off the main Coastal Route. These are: Islandmagee, Slemish Mountain, Glenariff, Glendun, Torr Road, Glenshesk, Bann Valley, Binevenagh Mountain and the Roe Vally. One of these (Torr Scenic Road)is quite narrow so do be careful if your not used to our small roads, one tip is to pull in your wing mirrors on the Torr Road.

It is a great drive. You can't rush. Pack a picnic as there are places to stop and view. It is worth the trip

We travelled along this amazing road with wonderful views and villages at every turn. Don't miss it (although it was actually quite a bit further than we thought)

The view is spectacular, the walk up to it is perfect not too long not too short as it is 1km. For the more adventurous persons among you, you have the opportunity to explore the rocks, where as the more laid back visitor can just stand on the side and look at other tourist climbing on the Giant's causeway

We walked from the Giant's Causeway to Dunseverick Castle, before hopping on a bus to Ballintoy and the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge, and have to say that the coastal walk was beautiful. It could do with better signposting letting you know how far you've got to go though! We also drove from the Causeway, through the Glens to Belfast and thought the drive was magical especially, Cushendun and Glenarriff, despite typical Northern Irish wet weather!
