We have just returned from our stay at The Causeway Smithy, and feel we need to spread the word .Excellent accommodation , excellent food , excellent hosts ,good location , we could walk to The Giants Causeway,Our children 11 & 5 , did not want to leave , Denise had toys , games and colouring in waiting for them, and was so welcoming and friendly with the children, it was like home from home. With our own separate annex , it meant we could dine on our own at our own table , not disturbing anyone , and could easily come and go as we pleased as we had our own entarance .We will be booking in again soon and can't wait to do so !

This is one of the nicest B&B's I've stayed at in Ireland! And, the rate was so reasonable. Our room was clean and bright and had a comfortable king size bed, a beautiful bay window from which you could see the sea and the sunset, 2 soft white robes, and a bathroom en suite. In addition, there was a private entrance and a lounge for afternoon tea and morning breakfast. The lounge converts to a second bedroom which would be perfect for a family travelling together.

The Smithy is right on A2, so it was really easy to find. 6 miles west of Carrick-a-Rede, 2 miles south-east of Giant's Causeway, and 2.5 miles from the Bushmills Distillery. A taxi ride into town was just 4 gbp, which we took advantage of to have a night of dinner and drinks out.

In the morning, Denise served an elegant, yet traditional Irish breakfast. She was just a wonderful hostess. Our visit was just perfect.

just back from staying here for the night, cant fault the place at all, spotlessly clean, spacious (own lounge area as well as private entrance hall and en suite bedroom), lots of lovely little touches which make the place very homely and a very good hostess, couldn't have been more helpful!! not to mention the gorgeous boxer ruby angel!!! overall a great place to stay, so peaceful and relaxing, only a matter of time before we visit again!! thanks denise!! gary & les xx

Had a great stay at the Causeway Smithy which we discovered via a Groupon deal. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find not just a lovely clean cosy bedroom with en-suite but an additional lounge area too. The accommodation was clean, bright and cosy and there were nice touches everywhere including toiletries, bath robes, tea & coffee facilities and plenty of useful info about local amenities. Denise was so welcoming and friendly, not to mention helpful, recommending things to do, places to go and gave us a great suggestion for where to go for an evening meal which we really enjoyed, she really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was so comfy! In the morning Denise cooked us a full breakfast which was really really tasty and set us up for the day, and knowing we had been out for a few drinks the night before she brought us some iced water too :) we will definitely be back to Causeway Smithy!

Have stayed at the wonderful Causeway Smithy on 2 occasions. The most wonderful Host and Hostess (Denise & Les) you will ever encounter in a B & B establishment.
The accomodation is high spec and comfortable, this in enhanced by seperate lounge/dining area complete with TV, DVD and a lovely modern fire. Your own entrace and hallway makes you feel that little bit like home from home.
Irish breakfast is fabulous with all ingredients locally sourced. Can't wait for my 3rd stay at this beautiful little haven.... Don't miss out on this amazing place.

We received a wonderfly warm welcome from Denise, the proprietor, when we arrived - really just what after I expected after the warm, friendly and helpful telephone conversation we had at the time of booking.

The accommodation is modern, warm, and immaculately clean and tidy. The premises are beautiful and the parking is off road and very safe and secure. The breakfasts were hearty, and Denise was quick to pick up that we didn't know where to go for our evening meals, so she made a selection of suggestions, to meet various budgets, types of premises, variation of food and pleasing atmospheres. We took her suggestions and were not disappointed! Denise is also a walking tourist information service - she is so knowledgeable about the area!

We have been recommending Causeway Smithy to all of our friends, and we will most definately be paying a return visit.

Thank you, Denise, for such a wonderful weekend!
