My wife and I enjoyed dinner at the Bushmills Inn on Saturday night, 18th May. It's the perfect place to have a romantic meal. From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive, very pleasant and polite, nothing was a problem. We were shown to a cosy corner in the restaurant, very intimate and romantic. The food is pricey but fantastic, you get what you pay for. Smoked Haddock Risotto and Pork Belly for starters, first class. Fillet and Sirloin steaks with a selection of veg for mains, again first class and cooked to perfection. Definitely an all round 10/10.

Stayed here for two nights and used it as a home base to visit nearby sights including Giant' Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick a Rede bridge. The hotel is top notch. Rooms ere spacious, with a rustic feel. Bottled water, robes, teapot, etc. the hotel is quite large, numerous sitting areas, alcoves to relax in. Fireplaces available in many of these areas. The staff were all friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Restaurant is wonderful but a bit on the expensive side.

Room Tip: Not much to see in Bushmills itself, other than the whiskey factory. If you don't eat at the hot...

We stayed 1 night at the Bushmills Inn and this really is a fantastic gem of a place. The service was fantastic - friendly, personable, easy going and they seem to be able to do this from their hearts. We felt we had met new friends. The atmosphere - and numerous little snugs and fires - all makes for a very spoily stay away. This is the BEST and we will be back

We stayed here for one night while visiting the Giants Causeway and Carrick a Rede. Our family room had a loft with a type of ladder up to the 2 single beds for the children, with their own slippers and a teddy bear waiting for them. They said it was the best hotel room in Ireland they had ever been in!

Attentive, warm and personal service from all staff make this a comfortable waystation while in the northern area of NI.
We spent two nights here while playing golf at Royal Portrush which is a short 10 min drive away. The rooms are basic but clean, quiet and comfortable. It is a bit overpriced for the standard but to be expected as this is the best accommodation in the area.
The bathrooms are clean and the showers and water pressure excellent.
The attached restaurant was excellent for dinner (we enjoyed John Dory fillets as a special) with VERY friendly and attentive service. Wine was reasonably priced (18 pounds for a Peter Lehman Weighbridge Shiraz) although the same wine was 13.50 at Don Giovanni's in Portrush but the standard here is a bit more up market so expected.
The adjacent pub has live traditional Irish music in the evenings and the coziness of the pub is enough to generate some new conversations among new "friends".
Our first room had a problem with no hot water but the manager personally looked into the problem and immediately changed our room even assisting in moving our luggage between rooms.
B'fast is included and is outstanding. All the cold items of cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread, cheese etc plus a cooked b'fast. The Bally b'fast includes eggs benedict with an excellent hollandaise. No lunch required after "filling up" with this offering.
In deciding whether this hotel or the other hotel and B&B offerings is simply a matter of convenience and comfort.
This is a bit pricey but convenient to an excellent restaurant, shopping high street and full off street parking with great staff and comfortable beds. I would opt for this hotel again.
It is also only 5 min away from Bushmill's distillery which offers daily tours. An interesting tour of the facilty and education on the making of Irish whiskey complete with a sample of the product at the end.

We dined at the Bushmills Hotel restaurant on May 4th. It was lovely. The hotel and its restaurant ooze character. The staff are very friendly and provided excellent service; the food was beautifully presented and excellent quality. First class musicians entertained us with traditional Irish music. We would love to go back.
