We stayed Sept 12th 2012, on a cycling trip travelling east to west. The location's fabulous, a leisurely 10 min walk to the Giant's Causeway which we visited early morning, uninterrupted by tourists. The views from the dining area are impressive, over the sea and nearby village of Ballintrae. Steve was a great host, cooking up a filling burger, chips and salad for only £3.50, which was very welcome after a a long day cycling. He was extremely helpful advising on our onward journey alongside a railway line, and describing the castles. (tea room by Dunluce castle well worth a visit by the way). The only minor quibble is one of the showers was not very warm, but otherwise it was very well-maintained, clean and the friendliest hostel on the coast, and definitely best value for money.More
