thought it was a cheek to have to pay a euro to get the courtesy bus back to visitor centre - should be included in entrance price

This is one of those places you just have to see. It's simply unique and will inspire people in many different ways. Leaving aside the arguments about whether you should pay or not, we didn't have a problem with the visitors centre and found it a source of information. The National Trust do have to make money any way they can and this centre does not distract from the attraction at hand, in our eyes. I assume the road has been built to allow access for the disabled and is a balance between aesthetics and the needs of the less fortunate amongst us. The downside of a visit here, is the sheer number of visitors, who do spoil the magic and vision somewhat. Try to get here before 10am to appreciate this site in all it's glory

We were driving from Belfast west to Donegal and diverted to the Giant's Causeway. This is a long drive on Irish roads but really something to see. It is a long steep walk to the thousands of rocks and it was cold and very windy (you need to dress warmly) but fortunately there is a bus we used for the return. All told this is an awesome sight and wonderful natural formation.

One of the most beautiful parts of Northern Ireland! A must see for anyone traveling in Ireland. It's a little bit of a hike down to it, but well worth the trip. The views there are beautiful. A must do on your bucket list!

When I started planning our trip to Northern Ireland, I found this treasure. It is one of my all-time favorite sites I have seen. We ended up taking a train and bus trip from Dublin and enjoyed we every minute. I would have enjoyed a bit more time there. I also enjoyed the visitor center and thought the interactive displays for kids were quite innovative. We walked down, but paid the pound to ride the bus back up.
