Description: one of Ireland's and the UK's most loved hotels which fuses traditional charm and bags of boutique luxury to deliver the best in hospitality in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Northern Ireland. Roaring peat fires, nooks and crannies and a secret library set the tone. In the bar, still lit by gas light, try a glass of malt from the hotel's private cask and make sure to sample some of the finest North Antrim produce in the AA Rosette restaurant.

“Best Fish & Chips Ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

We stopped for lunch at the Bushmills Inn restaurant. Hands down, the best fish and chips I've ever had! It wasn't greasy at all. Very crisp and not too heavily breaded. Don't miss the Irish coffee either.

“Don't dare go for dinner before 6 pm!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013

We completed a whiskey tasting at Old Bushmill's distillery late in the day, and left when the distillery closed at 5 pm. We walked down to Bushmill's Inn where we had made a reservation for 5:30 to eat and wait a period of time to ensure we were ok to drive. They could not find our reservation but told us they had a table; and informed us we must be gone by 7:30. Then they gave us the luncheon menu. When we asked for the dinner menu, the server informed us that was only available after 6 pm. No time to sip a glass of wine and dine later - we had to eat and be gone by 7:30. Luckily the lunch menu had some tasty items and we enjoyed what we had. But poor customer service!!!

“Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

Food was gorgeous and the restuarant and the staff were lovely. Saturday night had traditional Irish music which was very good. Lots of American tourists who were so interested and just made for a great night's entertainment.

“Nice but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We (four of us) had dinner here. No problem getting seated without a reservation, but it would probably be a good idea. The service was very good, but we had mixed reviews on the food. My own meal was excellent. This was easily the highest priced meal of our trip.

“Wonderful Sunday Carvery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Saw the Bushmills Inn last time we visited Antrim and liked the look of it, so this visit we decided to treat ourselves to Sunday lunch there. Heard that they did carvery and almost changed our minds - visions of dried up meats and overcooked veg... However Bushmills carvery is a little bit more special....
Starters and desserts are not included and are odered from the menu - we selected the Red quinoa salad with young spinach, pomegranate, broad beans, sweetcorn and a cider vinaigrette - very tasty, and Prawn & Crayfish salad which was small but delicious!
After that we mead out way to the carvery.....
Every meat we could imagine laid out in front of us, including 3 types of beef - rare, medium, & well done! A stuffed pork and a plain one, lamb, venison - beautifully tender!, Turkey - brown or white meat! What a choice!
After that there were various add ons - good veg, stuffing, baked tomatoes and apples.
Wonderful!!
And mash and roast potatoes. Roast potatoes were a bit of a let down but everything else was superb!!
Carvery cost £13.85 - brilliant value for what you get!
No room for dessert after all of that but they sounded delicious too!
The ambiance in the place is wonderful - open fires and coziness, but a conservatory if you prefer a brighter location.
Staff were excellant and super friendly and not in a cursory way - they chatted to you in an open and friendly way like you were one of the family!
We will certainly be back to The Bushmills Inn - possibly for New Year's Eve as that sounds wonderful and I couldn't think of a nicer place to welcome in the New Year than on the Beautiful Antrim coast and in this wonderful warm and friendly place!!
