As a family we all love staying in this hotel. The room was immaculate and had everything in it we required.

The food in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced and there is a kids play area which is an added bonus.

Doing the meal deal is highly recommended as you really do make a great saving

We stayed here as a family of 5 for 1 night as we could not find accommodation in Belfast due to the Titantic Exhibition opening, and weren't we lucky! I can always rely upon a premier inn for good clean rooms, value for money and an excellent restauant. For a travelling family with children to check in and then be able to have a very nice meal on site is a real bonus. The staff at Carrickfergus were excellent, nothing was a problem for them. I had to charge my camera and the charger wouldnt fit inthe wall socket (they are very close to the bench) and the girl at reception happitly charged it for me overnight as well as print off our boarding passes for the next days flight. The highlight was the location at the marina, directly outside was the beautiful Carrickfergus Castle! (and a 10 min drive into Belfast) My only complaint wd be the bed was a little uncomfortable and could do with a mattress protector or layer before the bottom sheet. I will definately stay here again should I find myself in Northern Ireland.

We stayed here for 4 nights during the Easter holidays. Staff at the reception are friendly and very welcoming. Rooms are typical of any Premier Inns; clean and comfortable. Bathroom is spotless with good water pressure in the shower. Towels are also clean. What made this Premier Inn different to the other Premier Inns we have stayed is the location. All the rooms have a view, wake up in the morning and be greeted by the magnificent Carrickfergus Castle or the chime of sail boat bells overlooking Belfast Lough. It is a 15 minute drive to Belfast or 25 minutes by train. There is also ample parking which is monitored by cctv cameras. This is an ideal base if you're planning to do the Antrim Coast drive.

Room Tip: - stayed in Rm. 3 on the ground floor and can still hear (although muffled) the corridor door shutti...

We where here as a family for a 3 day break and didn't want the hastle of staying in Belfast. There is a train that takes 20 minutes to get into Belfast which is great. When we arrived at this hotel the welcome from the reception was fantastic, explained about everything in hotel and the attatched Brewer's Fayre. The rooms where fresh and clean. The location is great right at the harbour and next to Carrickfergus Castle. This is a great location for touring Northern Ireland. We can't wait to go back

I had a really good stay here at Premier Inn Carrickfergus. The staff are very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The bedding is very conductive to sleep. The bathroom was spacious.

Although outside of Belfast proper, it is a very easy 15 minute drive into the city, and the route is very scenic as it runs along the shoreline. Carrickfergus also has a train station but is a bit too far from the hotel to walk to. What is convenient to the hotel are several shops and restaurants including a McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, and the attached Brewers Fayre pub of course.

Room Tip: If you are lucky, you might get a room overlooking the Harbour, but even my room overlooking the bac...
