Called into Gullivers on the off chance as we were visting another premises in the business park.
What a surprise. The food was lovely. I hasd a wondeful fry that was fresh and plentiful and in no way greasy. A very tasty Americano went along with the fry.
My wife had a panini which was also commended by her and in her words "the best hot chocolate she had tasted in a long time"
I will definately make a point of coming here again.

I had a great cappuccino and apple & cinnamon tray bake which was reasonably priced, whilst I read the papers and glossy magazines on offer. The artwork on the walls by local artists are of a very high standard and well priced. This is the perfect stop for a cuppa or dinner on the way to Whitehead or Larne or Carrick and Belfast in the other direction, I will be calling in again soon, there was a great menu to choose from..

I love coming back here. The owners are very friendly, chatty people. They remembered my name! This time, off the artistically decorated “today’s specials” menu, I order the Russian Borsh. No clue what it is, so it will be fun to find out. It’s a wonderfully hearty soup, crammed with meat and veg; drain it and you’d call it stew! It tastes really brilliant. Loving it. Next I order the Irish Burger, again from curiosity. Wow! The bap is not a burger bap, but that traditional soda bread stuff. The meat is half an inch thick. It’s so tasty I don’t want ketchup – this NEVER happens! Big onion rings in it. Coleslaw for free. It is a huge meal, but I sit and savor every last bit. Amazing. The bill is 8 pounds - their soup of the day and burger taste like food from a gourmet restaurant that would charge treble these prices!

Beyond the (excellent) food and friendly atmosphere, you have to look around. William and Slava (the owners / chefs) are both artists. His bird paintings are the most detailed and beautiful you will ever see, anywhere. Bags of free car parking outside, very wheelchair accessible, extra wheelchair-friendly tables, trees and handsome countryside all across the road. They have very cute home-made furniture, tailored to their fun sailing ship theme. If you haven’t been, GET HERE, and grab yourself an Irish burger. I've seen nothing like it anywhere, and it’s great.
