It's tucked away but don't let that put you off because the B&B is immaculate and Margo, the host, is absolutely lovely. I felt SO welcomed - she really made it feel like a home away from home.

Would highly recommend if you want a personal touch and someone to have a friendly chat with over breakfast in the morning in the spacious kitchen.

Room was great, en-suite. Everything was spotless. They were also happy to advise on local attractions, driving routes, etc.

Would most definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Margo and John were very welcoming, helpful, and went out of thier way to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible! They gave great recommendations as far as things to go see to fill time surrounding the wedding I was in the area for, provided taxi service to the wedding since it was near by, and a great home made breakfast. One of the other guests there at the same time was even stranded at the bus station when thier husband's flight was delayed, and they helped with that too. I don't think I could have imagined a more accomodating Hosts!

Room Tip: Some of thier rooms, while still great, have a slanted roof ceiling. If you are a tall person menti...

Margo and John made us feel extremely welcome, and were excellent hosts. A fantastic location in the picturesque Northern Ireland countryside. Hearty breakfasts, and comfy, clean amenities.
Couldn't wish for better. Margo and John even posted back a necklace which my fioncee had accidentally left. Will look forward to going back again sometime.

We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We believe that a welcoming attitude is very important and are glad that was your experience. At this time of year the counryside around here looks beautiful and we are glad you appreciated that. Sometimes it happens that guests accidentally leave little personal possessions behind and we do usually try to return them if at all possible. Hope that you will visit if you are in the area again.

Margo & John Francis are great hosts. We arrived late and very tired for our 3 day stay and were made to feel just like family coming for a visit. As this was our (myself and my mother) visit to Ireland, Margo was very helpful with sites to visit and good places to eat. The fish & chips shop in Bushmills and Askins were both marvelous recommendations. Margo also helped with maps/driving directions to several of our destinations and John Francis even drove with us to the main road when we were leaving to make sure we didn't get lost on the way and miss our ferry to Scotland. I really appreciate all the time Margo and John Francis spent with me and my mother, getting to know us and helping us.

We ( that's my husband and I and our three children!) Stayed in the family room at Crockgarve B and B for one night whilst visiting my husbands grandparents.

The room was clean and recently decorated and accommodated all five of us including a travel cot supplied my Margo and Francis. The bathroom was amazing and included a jacuzzi bath. The lounge with a peat fire was really comfortable and a great place to feed our twin babies and we were able to make use of the kitchen facilites for heating up bottles in the middle of the night etc.

Margo made us feel very welcome and we were even greeted with scones and tea on our arrival. The Ulster fry was perfect. All the food was hot and there was also fruit, cereal etc available. Margo was an excellent host being around to help with the children etc but never being intrusive.

We would highly recommend this luxury b and b.

I stayed at Crockgrave with my Dad and 2 freinds when we visited N.Ireland for the Cookstown 100. Margo and John Francis are superb people and made us feel right at home. The B&B is beautiful, in a top quality setting. John Francis operates a taxi and Margo can reccomend many a local pub to frequent of an evening if you so wish!

The breakfast was amazing as was the evening meal, i would definately reccommend eating in for the food and company!

Margo was the perfect host and went out of her way to help.

I cant speak highly enough, thanks Margo & John F!

Travelling in the North for the first time with two children (8 & 10) from the USA we were welcomed with such warmth and charm! Margo and John F. felt like old friends within the first few hours of our stay. Margo cooked us dinner each night (my kids' favorite meals from a 10 day stay in Ireland!), and welcomed the days with a delicious breakfast. She eagerly helped plan our days of touring. Rooms very, very comfy and clean. Fantastic showers! The living room always had a warm turf fire waiting. We loved the scones and wheaten bread. Fun to see the farm and get a flavor for agricultural life. Roads lovely for walking. Would recommend this B&B to all, especially families and those new to Northern Ireland.
