“Wonderful cottage”
Reviewed July 5, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this beautiful cottage. Mary-Ann and Mike were very welcoming and friendly, giving us lots of ideas for things to do. There was home made bread, welsh cakes, jam as well as some milk which was really kind. Lots of thoughtful touches all around the cottage, including fresh flowers from the garden. Cottage itself is clean, fresh and well stocked, including various essentials such as tea, sugar and ketchup. Towels also provided which was nice for a self catered place. The garden is large, beautiful and very well kept- it was a pleasure to be able to stroll through.

Plenty of information provided in the cottage too, including things to do and birds to look out for in the garden. We visited the National Botanical gardens as recommended by Mary-Ann and loved it.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

“Just perfect”
Reviewed October 17, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

On arriving at Pen Y Garn we were given a lovely welcome by Mary - Ann and shown around the lovely cottage Home made cakes, jam and bread were also given. Just lovely! The cottage is in a lovely position and the gardens blend in beautifully with the surroundings .Birdlife is in abundance and the feeder just outside the window was in an excellent position for watching their antics. Lots of places to visit in the area. The Botanical Gardens are just 5 mins away by car and well worth a visit . The cottage is very comfortable and we could fault nothing Well done to Mike and Mary - Ann for thinking of everything .Top Marks .

“Beautiful and peaceful.”
Reviewed May 31, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

On arrival we were greeted by Mary Ann who had made us fresh bread and welshcakes, both of which were delicious!! The cottage its self is beautiful, more than enough room for four adults.. It is well equipped with everything you could need! The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms modern. Towels were large and fluffy. Both the cottage and the grounds were well kept and the views from the cottage were stunning! Birds dancing/rabbits playing!!
Local shop 5 minutes away, although the town centre is only a 10 minute drive.
Some of the photos don't do justice to how beautiful it actually is - both inside and out.. We all had a wonderful time and I simply cannot say enough good things!!

“A lovely, peaceful cottage.”
Reviewed May 18, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We were here for a long weekend and it just wasn't long enough! There is so much to do in the area and the cottage was a perfect base. It was clean, comfortable and very-well equipped. The owner was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful, much appreciated. We hope to return!

“Lovely location to explore South Wales”
Reviewed February 22, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Pen Y Garn cottage was delightful. It had everything our family needed. The cottage was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed with a tray of Welsh cakes and freshly baked bread.
We couldn't have asked for a better position to explore Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire. It would have been ideal too for the Gower too but we ran out of time. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

We'd recommend a visit to Llansteffan, very picturesque and a birthday lunch at Coast in Saundersfoot was a treat.
