We were here for a long weekend and it just wasn't long enough! There is so much to do in the area and the cottage was a perfect base. It was clean, comfortable and very-well equipped. The owner was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful, much appreciated. We hope to return!

Pen Y Garn cottage was delightful. It had everything our family needed. The cottage was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed with a tray of Welsh cakes and freshly baked bread.
We couldn't have asked for a better position to explore Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire. It would have been ideal too for the Gower too but we ran out of time. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

We'd recommend a visit to Llansteffan, very picturesque and a birthday lunch at Coast in Saundersfoot was a treat.

We booked most of 14 overnights with Airbnb and Mary Ann's Pen Y Garn Cottage was our first 2 nights stay. And the lovely accommodations and the charming hostess set a standard that wasn't matched during the ensuing 12 nights in 9 different locations.

What a wonderful, relaxing, refreshing place! Close to services and sight-seeing, but surrounded by nature. Everything we needed to self-cater was provided, along with clear instructions and a manual to consult as needed. The cottage is well-designed and spacious.
Our hostess greeted us with fresh baking, friendly conversation and great info on what to see and do. Would love to return and stay longer.

Pen Y Garn Cottage and our host, Mary-Ann set a standard that will be hard to meet as we travel around the UK and Ireland. From the personal greeting as we arrived to the fresh loaf of bread and Welsh biscuits awaiting us on the counter, Mary-Ann could not have made us feel more welcome. The cottage and its amenities are first class. The garden that surrounds it reflects the passion that Mary-Ann seems to have for life. Pen y Garn is but a short drive to the National Botanic Garden of Wales and offers the ability to take lovely walks down country lanes.

From initial booking to handing back the key at the end of my stay, Mary-Ann and Mike were the perfect hosts! The cottage was spotless, exceptionally welcoming and it was a lovely to receive some welcome gifts such as home made bread - and my favourite Welsh bread, bara brith!
The cottage itself is finished to an extremely high standard and was very clean and tidy. The woodburner was used every night without fail because it was there!
I've not slept so well in ages - even the linen felt high-quality!
Mary-Ann and Mike made me feel so welcome and I would thoroughly recommend this little piece of Welsh paradise - very convenient location for West and South Wales, Swansea and the beautiful Gower. If you don't know what to do during your stay, simply thumb through the up to date tourist information that you can find in the cottage.
I really cannot say how comfortable I was and how I felt treated like a king!
A "must" for another time!
