If you want the jewel of Wales, this is it. Stunning scenery on the door step and the most amazing, fit, smart, responsive horses combined with Roddy and Charlies charm and humour. Lesley in the kitchen providing perfectly made, scrumcious meals and dont forget the afternoons tea!! All contained in a homely setting in the peaceful countryside. Perfect retreat to go on your own but be warned you will come home with lots of new friends! Do as much or as little as you like and dont forget to take a bottle of wine or 3!!!!! If you go once you will def go back!!!

My second visit here was just as good as the first! A very warm welcome, super food, horses and scenery make this the ideal riding holiday for adults. The horses are responsive and very well schooled and Lesley has a real gift for matching horses with riders, all the horses I have ridden there have been perfect for me. The rides are stunning with breathtaking views along the way and are led by very experienced riders. Lots of hot water for baths and showers in comfortable ensuite rooms, all in all a perfect holiday for horse lovers!

Cae Iago is the best place in Wales to have an enjoyable experience on well mannered and well schooled horses along good tracks in the most stunning scenery. There are plenty of variety of rides to choice from. The owners Roddy and Lesley take great pride in their horses and matching riders to a suitable mount. My husband has only been riding a couple of years and we just want to return to Cae Iago all the time. The food is superb, all home cooking and the hosts Lesley and Roddy always sit down to Dinner with everyone and make it a truly unique experience. We never stop laughing from the time we get there till we leave. The husbands enjoy a drink at the 'Drovers' which is a short walk down the road (10 mins). Cae Iago also has a games room with table tennis, a pool table and a small shop. The lounge is comfy and relaxing, the rooms are all ensuite with lovely hot water!
I challenge any one not to enjoy themselves at Cae Iago.

having just finished another trip here and coming home and reading the reviews, i could go on to give my experience but honestly everyone has done it for me. it truly is the best. if you are reading these reviews to check it out, please listen to them all. you will be well catered for. i have been and spoken to people who have been to other riding holidays , and they have all said that non will come close to CAEIAGO. so go and treat yourselves, go and experience it, you will not regret it. if you do let me know and i personally will give you a refund !! thats how confident i am..

I've just returned from my fourth visit to this Riding Centre and am already planning the next. It's just amazing; the minute you walk in the door you're 'one of the family' and your every need is catered for. One word of warning though, don't expect to lose weight here because the food is fab (thanks to Les's expertise) and there's plenty of it -local produce and often home-grown too. Not only are visitors totally spoiled but it's blatently obvious that the horses are too and if you want to be 'hands-on' you can enjoy grooming your horse with guidance on hand should you need it. The centre is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and the rides provide variety for every ability under the careful watch of Charlie and Roddy. If you love horses, food, fun and adventure and haven't stayed at Caeiago, you're missing out!
