Beautiful character pub which is surprisingly large on the inside. Arrived for lunch at 12 noon & it was already filling up, would recommend booking if you are coming a distance.
Roaring log fire was welcoming on a cool spring day. We looked at the vast menu & opted for nibbles to start & open sandwiches with chips..the portions were substantial!
The food was fresh & tasty with lots of local sourcing being seen on the menu. We couldn't manage dessert but had coffee instead, price for all this food & drinks £33.
Will definately be back to the Tempest Arms, nice atmosphere with friendly staff & good food, what more do you need?
