Been going to Skipton for many years and always eat in the Dales cafe, the menu is huge and reasonably priced, but would recommend the roast lamb it melts in your mouth, the service is very quick and friendly, worth travelling 60 miles for great food, all the family love it and look forward to the next visit.
All the food on the menu is fantastic, breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon tea, lovely charming place for all ages, always busy would recommend turning up early!

We have called in twice now and each time we have been extended a warm welcome, with comfortable surroundings and very good food. We initially found this delightful café by chance....its tucked away behind Rackhams!!

We stopped for lunch on a cold Monday, the cafe and the welcome were warm. The menu is extensive - both myself and my husband had baguettes which came with salad and chips -:delicious and excellent value. The service was quick and staff very pleasant. I can't believe it's taken me so long to visit - i will definitely be back ..,,.,

We got a warm welcome when we walked into the café, we chose our table & perused the very extensive menu we opted for the soup & toasties deal and a pot of tea for two. After ordering at the counter our drinks followed shortly , the café has a friendly atmosphere & the waiting staff are very pleasant, it was fairly quiet when we arrived but soon picked up, they have upstairs seating too & its nice to sit near the window up there so you can people watch. When our food arrived it was very nicely presented, with a bit of salad garnish on the side of the plate. The soups were delicious, I had Tomato & basil & it was lovely & thick [obviously homemade] & extremely tasty., the toasties too were really good with plenty of filling. We have been before & will definitely return when in Skipton again. Would highly recommend this Café.
