This was the second visit to the Bistro. On both occasions there were 9 of us and we chose to sit on the 'private' mezzanine which seats just 10 people as a maximum.
Nibbles of mixed olives and delightfully light and tasty garlic ciabatta, followed by a variety of delicious starters, (can recommend the scallops in thermadore and the smoked haddock risotto)
Mains varied.. Crispy belly pork, rib-eye steaks, filet of lamb, sea bass, pheasant ....all beautifully presented and red hot.
All of us declined dessert purely because we had simply eaten more than enough... Shame really the menu looked fabulous...We'll definitely be back.. maybe omitting the nibbles so we've room for desserts?
