At first I thought it was a little expensive for a petting farm, however it really isn't. The animals all look well cared for and are very good natured. Most of the animals are inside, so if its not a nice day you can still see and touch them. There's loads of other stuff to do to, go karts, ride on tractors, a maze, a play ground, huge wide open space, tractor rides etc.. I cant comment on the food because we took a picnic which we ate outside with the glorious view. (There are also picnic benches inside too!)
Its suitable for children of all ages, and safety is the farms main concern, there are plenty of hand washing sinks throughout the farm. All the staff were helpful and friendly too.
