I stayed as a business guest with a couple of colleagues in January. A nicely decorated hotel with attentive staff and a welcome feeling. Enjoyed the bar area. A great place to spend a cold winters evening. Good food in the restaurant and comfy beds and clean well appointed room. My room was slightly on the cramped size, but otherwise everything was good. I'll be sure to stay here again next time i'm in the area.

A smart comfortable friendly hotel with a great atmosphere. Just stayed the one night and ate in the restaurant that evening which was excellent. The breakfast next morning was equally good. Would recommend and not hesitate in returning ourselves.

Restaurant review only.

Firstly, the hotel is very impressive. Clad in ivy and situated next to the River Great Ouse it is a picturesque setting for any occasion.

Visited for a colleagues leaving meal. We started off enjoying a drink in the atmospheric bar area complete with log fire and comfy sofas.

Moving in to the restaurant we were treated to a delicious meal, with very high quality food.

The service was as you'd expect for such an establishment, very polite, courteous and efficient.

Well worth a visit, if a touch on the expensive side for what's offered (although it's worth it for the venue).

Nina and her team at the hotel excelled in providing a New Years Eve party and Jazz lunch on New Years Day an event to remember. The overall accommodation was to a very high standard, the food was faultless, congratulations to the Head Chef, his brigade and everyone behind the scenes who never seem to get a mention. The wine shop is also a great experience and great way to choose your wines prior to lunch/dinner, the guys in there are so friendly and knowledgeable. We will certainly be back soon for a relaxing stay.

A wonderful stay for a few days over New Year, a shame they are closed for the night of the 1st.
Really welcoming lots of staff to tend for your every need.
Room and bathroom clean with every facility, the only thing that could be improved would be some drawers.
Food super such a wide choice.
Expect us back

Had Christmas day lunch here.
Food and service top quality.
Restaurant a touch crowded and slightly lacking in atmosphere - gentle festive back ground music would not have gone amiss. A minor detail however - super food in a super setting.

Stayed at the bridge after our company Xmas party at the hotel. The room was excellent with a huge bed and a large en-suite with freestanding roll-top bath. The staff are all well trained and managed to serve a table of 15 with food at the same time and without having to ask who had ordered which dish. Normal room rates might be a little steep but you can see where the money goes. Good quality TV and sound system in every room and the whole place is very well decorated.
