An attractive building, wonderfully decorated and maintained. Friendly and attentive staff who are well trained and knowledgeable. Lovely light interior. All this sets the scene for an enjoyable time. The menu is excellent and for lunch included a good mix of light choices with some beautiful seasonal and locally sourced dishes. Lovely fish and excellent beef and venison, all appreciated by us and beautifully presented and cooked. Fabulous wine list and some very tempting pudding and selected wine combos! A fascinating wine shop staffed by infectiously enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. I hadn't been there for many years, and it was every bit as perfect as I recall.. I hope not to leave it so long again.
