“Lovely Restaurant with excellent food & service.Handy parking.”
Reviewed October 29, 2011

We eat here at least once a week, the food is excellent, great choices. Staff are very friendly. A very clean tidy restaurant suitable for all ages. Soups are excellent, some of the best I have tasted. Good breakfast menu. Lovely sandwiches with various fillings.
All food served hot in a very friendly manner. Also they make a great pot of tea.
Coffee is excellent as well.

“Great cafe with very clean highchairs”
Reviewed October 19, 2011

Main problem with this cafe is that you have to find a parking space on the side of a busy main road, but once parked that's when the problems stop.
The cafe is both wheelchair & pram accessible and once in the door we were greeted by a lovely waitress who to be honest I had mistaken for being the owner, she has always been there to serve me on the occasions I have visited, is knowledgeable about the menu and seems to genuinely care about the cafe as if it was her own.

So in we go, a table for 2 and a highchair and there it is... the cleanest highchair I've EVER seen in a restaurant, they must power-hose the thing after each use it was so clean!

The kids menu offered the usual fare for kids, if thats's what you're after great. Our waitress was keen to point out that they will make up any small sized portion for kids from the regular menu if they can, great if you don't want goujons etc for little one.

The food is decent and honest, they aren't trying to be anything over and above what the immaculately clean kitchen can deliver and that's what I want, do what you CAN and do it WELL. The food came out in good time and was well presented, seasoned and tasty. Coffee was great as well.

“Great atmosphere, Great food, Great service,”
Reviewed August 17, 2011

This is a great cafe where you will have a lovely choice of food. A varied menu for all tastes from the very hungry to the small snack.
The soups are wonderful, so many different kinds all homemade by the taste of them.
A friendly place to eat.
