“A very pleasant stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2014

If you want clinical and corporate book a Premier Inn. If you want homely and the personal touch this BnB is perfect.

We only stayed one night but were very impressed by how helpful and pleasant Carl the proprietor was. Our room was very comfortable, light and airy. The television had a full complement of channels and the WiFi signal was perfect: extremely important to my partner. However, we had difficulty getting a phone signal in the house. There was a full range of toiletries in the bathroom of the type you would have at home. A big plus was that the breakfast room is open to guests at all times and is kept stocked with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and a full compliment of cereals which you are welcome to avail yourself of at any time. No meagre two teabags, a dribble of milk and one biscuit to share in this establishment! The house is set in a quiet location with a lovely outlook across fields. The road it's situated on is very narrow with no pavements, so a little precarious for walkers but it's just a short walk to great pub called the White Swan where we had a lovely meal. A word of warning for bikers:, the drive is steep and very broken up and gravely. We were on an extremely heavy Harley Davidson and my partner had lots of fun trying to manoeuver it to a safe parking position. Not a problem of course for cars. We had full English breakfast which was good and there was plenty of selection, including yoghurts and fresh strawberries for anyone wanting a lighter start to the day. Overall, a big thumbs up for this BnB. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding at the nearby Brandshatch Place Hotel. It's a fairly steep narrow driveway up from Billet Hill - a narrow country road - but there's plenty of room for parking once you're in.

We were given a warm welcome from the host, who provided us with lovely cooked breakfasts and a nice clean, comfortable en-suite room within the annexe containing all the b&b facilities.

The Brandshatch Hotel and circuit are only a short distance away, but, given the narrow roads without pavements, it isn't really within walking distance at night, so we got a taxi back to Nine Acres. Our host very kindly gave us a lift across to the venue to collect our car the following morning and was only too happy to help with everything including lending us her iron!

Ash and nearby Fawkham have some nice pubs for some quiet food and drink, so it's in a really good location. We'd definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The en-suite double room was very comfortable and contains an additional single bed

So pleased we found this place.
Very quite and private location, with great scenery.
Lovely warm reception on arrival, and really enjoyed our stay.
Would definitely go back.
Loads of extra's you wouldn't find in many B&B's with a bathroom full of toiletries, full use breakfast room with tea and coffee making facilities and even snacks provided.
Had a very good breakfast that set us up for the day.
Best bit it was less than ten mins away from Brands Hatch, our destination.

Lovely warm welcome from our hosts. Comfortable warm room with everything provided for.Great quiet location within easy reach of London. Cooked breakfast with all the trimmings was superb.Super breakfast room with TV makes you feel like you feel like you have your own holiday house. For a relaxed flexible break or just a quick one night stay I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough. Full marks!!

A beautiful countryside b&b with a super location just a short drive to the nearest train station and only 30 minutes to arrive in the centre of London! Really is the best of both worlds! The b&b is beautifully unique with the twin room we stayed in having real character and personality. It's fresh and clean but still homely and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was FAB and filled us up for the whole day!!! The b&b has it's own kitchen for guests fully stocked with anything you could require which you can access at anytime. The hosts were welcoming and nothing was to much trouble, will definitely be returning soon and recommending to others.

I stayed at this B&B the weekend before Christmas and really enjoyed my stay. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible - nothing seemed too much for them. The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of options but the cooked breakfast was definitely the winner! Can't recommend this B&B enough.

Stayed here recently, extremely friendly hosts who went that extra mile to please. Lovely cooked breakfast and as others have said the kitchen was really well stocked, we will definately be back. Only negative was that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable but the room was clean and suited us a treat.

Room Tip: the double room also had a single bed
