Stayed 2 nights during long weekend in May 2011.

There are only 4 maekong view pool villas in this beautiful properties. Room is nice decoration, but outside bathroom is not great. Food is delicious especially breakfast.

Private pool is very small. We are also using spa, boat excursion and airport transfer service which is reliable and peaceful.

Overall, we have good break and relax, but not feel that we have to travel this far to enjoy.

We just came back from a very pleasant stay at Sedhapura, didn't expect such a beautiful small hotel in the area. The view was spectacular, the food and service was fantastic.
Sethapura offers only 4 exclusive units, and the one bedroom villa we chose is very large and nicely decorated, easily accommodate a family of 3 or even 4. Bathroom has a bathtub and an outdoor open-air shower which was just perfect after the day trips. Each villa also has a private small pool.

The owners were there to not only meet and greet their guests, they also cooked some nice home-made dishes for us. We walked over to the nearby Tohsang Kongjiam Resort ( larger, affiliated hotel) for both dinners and breakfast. Buffet breakfast was very creative with wide selections of local dishes and that of western style. Even if there are lots of nice trips to do in the area, the hotel itself is a great destination, their spa service was also superb, the coconut oil body massage was heavenly.
We'd love to go back there again next year.

We were blown away by the property, service and serenity of this hotel, which is about an hour's drive from the Ubon airport. The pictures tell it all. Mekong at your door step; Laos across the river. The private pool is cool and refreshing after a hot day of touring. Be certain to take advantage of the excursions - National Parks, Sam Pam Bok, Mekong and Moon riverboat trip - and silk shopping on the way back to the airport. The level of personal service offered to villa guests is outstanding. Breakfast at the sister resort next door is varied and plentiful - European and Asian, and dinner is on the veranda overlooking the Mekong, whether on the property's own veranda or that of the sister property. You can do as little or as much as you like, remain completely private or join fellow travellers at the bar.

Two months ago I went to Tohsang Khongjiam Resort and got a chance to take a peek at the new pool villa called Sedhapura. I promised myself that one day I would go back to Sedhapura for sure and the time came faster than I expected.

I needed a break from the craziness at work so bad so I packed my bag and leave for the holiday that I hope it would be another “perfect getaway” for me. After spending 2 nights at the one-floor pool villa, I have only one question for myself which is when will I get to come back here again?

I arrived in the afternoon and jumped straight to the private swimming pool. It’s such an incredible feeling, to be in the swimming pool and yet I can see the calming flow of Mekhong river right in front of my eyes. Then, my boyfriend and I walked to Tohsang Khongjiam Resort to have our little romantic dinner at Café De Khong. Of course, we didn’t forget to order our favorite deep-fried ice-cream!!!

The bedroom was cozy and gave us a very warm feeling, just like staying at home, only it’s a whole lot more luxurious. The next day, I woke up so late and too lazy to do anything so we ordered room service for lunch. I felt so spoil when seeing the resort’s staff carrying big tray full of yummy food for us. Once again, the staffs are friendly just like the last time we came and it felt so wonderful that some of them even remember me!

I guess it’s because the pool villa is pretty new so it gave me a different feeling as when I went to Tohsang Khongjiam Resort. I would say that the place is more stylish and since altogether there are only 4 villas, it gave me a lot more privacy. What makes Sedhapura the same as Tohsang Khongjiam Resort is that they still keep the cute characteristics of the staff’s friendliness, and the unforgettable experience that makes me smile every time I think about staying there. Surely, Sedhapura will be on the top of my list when I needed to escape from the world.
