What a great setting. Golf lovers will recognize this PGA stop where the Hyundai Classic is played. The Drive in is beautiful as you ascend to the clubhouse where the The Plantation House restaurant is located. The grounds are immaculate and the views are some of the best on the island.

We went for breakfast and it was nice not to have had to wait...at all!! We did not have reservations. It is a nice menu and the prices are very moderate. I think a great value considering where you are. I had the Kula Spinach 3-egg omelet after I order a plate of fresh island fruit consisting of Banana, Pineapple, Strawberry, and Papaya. Others in my party ordered the Loco-Moco, Maui Sweetbread French toast, and the paniolo breakfast, which consists of eggs cooked to order, rice, toast and your choice of meats.

Everyone enjoyed their respective meals. It was a very nice dining room and it was very quiet. it was spacious and not crowded. It was an open air room. The ambiance was very nice. They have a beautiful Wine Cellar displayed by floor to ceiling glass windows to show off their wine selections. The bar is in the back part of the restaurant and has nice south views.

We left feeling it was a hidden gem with the view, ease of sitting, service, and quality of food and lastly, price.

I would love to return for a sunset dinner and experience it again but for breakfast, considering we love the Gazebo, this is a great find. We will be back

In the clubhouse of the famed PGA Kapalua golf course high above the coast with views of the acidic and of Molokai is found this restaurant which had become tired with a boring menu indifferently cooked. The advent of Chef JoJo has matched the food to the view. We sipped champagne as the sunset flamed across the darkening sky. An appetizer of grilled shrimp with a cajun rub on polenta cakes with a chile-lime cream was delicious and new to Maui dining. Fresh simply grilled onaga on grains was well prepared and not overcooked as is the wont in many Maui restaurants. Our waiter, who had been head of the wine program at the now defunct Kapalua Bay Hotel, helped us choose a single vineyard Ramey Chardonnay from the Ritchie ranch which well complemented our fish. Chef JoJo has turned this place into a must go experience during a holiday to Kapalua.

The restaurant is very high up over a golf course so the view was fantastic, you can see out to see as well as the lovely hills around.

views are to die for. it is a golf course restaurant though - sits overlooking the golf course sitting high on a hill with the ocean in the backdrop you won't beat the view.
good - great food. amazing views. good service. setting including building, open air and spacious tables are amazing.
poor - drinks left something to be desired. limited drink menu and coffee is not good-
overall - great for special dinner and romance!
