Makaluapuna Point has quite a site of what looks like dragon teeth created from lava flow. You can drive fairly close and then walk along the glof course to see it.

Quick trip up Highway 30. Don't be so quick to just look at the "Teeth" formation and leave. To the left is a rocky drop; if you look down, there are tons of playful sea turtles. I agree with other reviewers to take the time to walk down, past the teeth for more dramatic views. Tip though, if you didn't buy reef shoes, go get them at ABC. Flip flops really don't work well on wet rocks!

The rocky outcropping had a look of small teeth of rocks, which was unusual and interesting. However, down a little ways by foot towards the Ritz Club and Residences, the outcropping was much more dramatic and the larger rocks looked more like dragon's teeth. I would recommend walking down that way to see this and other interesting rock formations. There is a nice little beach on the north side there too.

We have been to Maui several times, but this is the first time we made it out to Dragon’s Teeth (or even heard of them, for that matter). Very stunning formation; really unique.

My husband and I took a walk along the beach path and past the Dragon's Teeth. The rock formations are rather unusual and the walk along the beach was very enjoyable. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to see this, but it was a nice addition to a beach walk.
