Beautiful! Very large condo, and filled with amenities from games, water toys, beach towels, chairs, full kitchen with nice appliances, washer/dryer, any and all dinner and glass ware...etc. There are two bathrooms with all needed amenities. King bed is very comfortable. TV has cable and all channels. Wi-fi included. The TVs are newer..and there is one in the main room and the bedroom
Condo is not right on beach (on golf course) but does have a nice view. We had a car, so drove to Ritz and went to Flemings beach. Great little bar there, too. We tipped the beach valet from the ritz, and got chairs and towels. He didnt even ask where we were staying. We also rented a cabana at the Ritz pool ($100) without a problem.
Condo has pool and BBQ right next door, and is the center unit between top and bottom unit. Yet, very quiet. My guess is that Kapalua is more quiet than other resorts. The Napili seemed more family. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful evenings on the lanai, playing scrabble and drinking wine. There is a table, 6 chairs, lounge chairs...and tons more room. We made a grocery stor
There is a resport shuttle, that even will go into the village and up to all the golf courses in Kapalua. Nice! The tennis is awesome! Every morn there is a clinic at 9:00 am. Only 25 for an hour...and very small group of 3-6. You must sign up ahead. they also have drop in doubles quite often.
Golf is discounted when staying in the villas, too.
Mixed reviews on the restaurants. The ones everyone said were great (Sea house) were not our favorites. Pinapple Grill is great! We also liked Plantation House. Ritz restaurants were nothing special. Merrymans was nice and great, open air view. We really enjoyed the new wine bar in the Kapalua village. 10 minute walk. Only small appetizers...but really large portions. We had a cheese plate ($12), a shrimp cocktail and a veggie platter; along with a $77 bottle of wine that we know sells at grocery stores for $60. Total bill was just over $100. In cali..the wine alone would have been $100 (Kutch Pinot)
We found the rental on VRBO...it was 1/4 of the cost of a night at the Ritz. So much nicer that being in a basic hotel room for 7 nights.
