The place to go for people watching, sunrise and sunset. The Malecon is where you go for the essentials. The snorkle gear and scooter rental is here. The restaurants and bars are here. Tables selling jewelry, scarves and crafts are located here. This is also the harbor area for catamaran and sailboats. A Must See place.

The Malecon is a beautiful boardwalk in Esperanza. We loved our early morning and late evening strolls while taking in the beautiful ocean views. The vendors were some of the most friendly we have encountered anywhere.

What a great place to stay in Vieques. The rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is yummy (scones, chocolate muffins, hot coffee, cereal..) The place has just the right vibe of being helpful and leaving you to enjoy your vacation. Love it.

Great views but it isn't a bathing beach as the sand strip is very narrow even at low tide. Locals set up stands to sell handmade crafts.
