A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spritual, physical and culnary pleasures of The Marches. Tasteful, immaculately clean and comfortable rooms one of the highlights is the breakfast room- with a curving, panoramic bay view window that looks out onto a fantastic "Marche" landscape. Shanti House is run by Heidi who gave us a personal and very warm welcome, even recalling that on the previous visit (more than one year ago) one of our party was intolerant to yeast! The breakfast was a great combination of fresh fruit and home made local delicacies (especially the jam made from local Lacrima grapes). Just up the hill and in the centre of the village Heidd's Dad, brother and Mum run Il Mago restaurant. Il Mago means Magician and refers to Heidi's father's hunting skills, with the restaurant offering excelent game served with local Lacryma wine. Even the vegetarians in our party didn't go hungry...excelent tartuffle omelete, unforgettable asparagus and tasty pasta! All this with a 10 % discount for Shanti House guests! Bravissimi!!!

It's only 25 minutes from the Ancona airport but it's the Le Marche countryside in the middle of olive orchards and vineyards. The Ristorante il Mago is simpatico and has delicious local specialties and a great wine selection and a grand piano with music on some nights. Rooms are just great and the colazione is sumptuous. Heidi is a wonderful host. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Peace, friendlyness, excellent food ( not only the breakfast, but also the restaurant dal mago), very nice, friendly, helping people, every day a very clean room, nice badrobes...
We loved it all !!
That's wy we will return in October !!
The swimming pool is cleaned every day during the night.
There is a real possibility to enjoy a very good aperitiv at the swimming pool with healthy snacks included.
If you like somebody and they intend to go to La Marche, please advise them this hotel, and you will never regret it !!!

We lived for 2 weeks in a lovely suite, we ate every day a fresh, variated, excellent breakfast, the hotel owner Heidi and all the family and personnel were superfriendly, in short terms it felt like home. Also the swimming pool is superclean ! We can only recommend this hotel to everybody who reads this. Furthermore there is also a very good family restaurant called Dal Mago very nearby that only uses fresh products and every day offers new specialities at a very good price. ( Much better than the Italian restaurants in Belgium)
