I attended a service at Truro Cathedral, impressed by the sheer size of the building. Nice choir and nice also to be able to have some peace and quiet in the middle of the city

visited truro during the heatwave in july and was surprised that the cathederal is only 100 odd years old.the architecture in it, along with the stained glass windows, is magnificent and makes you think it hundreds of years old(although one small part of it is).the skills these tradesmen had was outstanding and you wonder if that kind of workmanship will ever be seen again on a modern building.i think not.

Amazing building only just 100 years old. Stunning stained glass windows & carvings. Informative displays & amazing model made out of matchsticks

Truro has done parking correctly. Well-signed and easily accessible. However, once you leave the parking garage there is no signage to direct you to the cathedral or museum. Hmm. Luckily, a friendly local told us the way and then actually took us to the street to the cathedral. The church is amazing. Not as big or grandiose as others I have visited, but it has a sense of calm about it. Well-designed, beautiful windows, friendly guides. A place of peace. There is a nice gift shop and the restaurant attached serves "real" food not "fast" food as a sign above the kitchen door reminds you. We were not disappointed with the meat pie special of the day. Well worth the visit.

Truro Cathedral is a beautiful piece of English history, and very welcoming by the staff.
The outside square is covered in flowers and seating, and the flowers was in full blow.
It's very similar to York Minster with the lovely stain glass windows, and amazing architecture.
The place is huge inside and everywhere you look there is, beautiful carvings in stone and wood.
You can sat in a nice reading room or attend a talk on the cathedral and bible.
There's a lovely café inside that does full meals, and snacks did not try as was full at the time,
Truro is a lovely place to very and the cathedral was the icing on the cake!
