“Superb”

Beautiful architecture truly breathtaking. Restaurant is very good as is the cathedral shop. Have attended several services here and also like to come just to take in the atmosphere and use the restaurant and shop. Recommended whether or not you are a Christian just for the superb building and the atmosphere.

“Certainly worth a visit”

Small but impressive cathedral, take the time to look up as you wander around. Not as grand as the likes of Durham cathedral, but a little gem. We attended the annual pet service between Christmas and New Year, it was great. Evetryone had pets with them from dogs dressed up in fairy lights and tinsel, to ducks, hamsters, cats and rabbits. The service was aimed at children and pets, just 50 minutes with carols, and the pets went to be blessed by the vicar. TV screens around the aisled so you could see all the animal antics, and the noise was immense,, but my 8 year old enjoyed it. A great introduction to the church for younger children, or for those who attend stuffy old fashioned church services.

“A must to visit.”

A perfect haven of tranquility and reverence. A Cathedral where admittance is free. Having visited this wonderful building many times in the past it is always refreshing to visit time and time again. A beautifully centralised city building.
