I stayed at the guesthouse for 5 nights whilst I carried out a placement at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Being 21 years of age and so far away from home it was quite a scary experience for me, however Ann was extremely welcoming upon arrival, she explained everything there was about Truro, where i could find food, nearest bus stop etc and made sure I was happy. The room I was in was a twin room; I cannot fault the room at all, plenty of lighting (For those that may want to study) a wash basin, tea making facilities, there is nothing more you could ask for really; I was also impressed at the fact that although the guest house felt more like a home, Ann was extremely professional and respected my privacy (knocking to come in) and was always present if I had any questions. Breakfast was extremely pleasant, I only had cereal however the very large full english breakfast looked perfect (for those that like to start off the day with a big meal). Ann is extremely generous and really does put her all in to make sure you are happy. I will most definitely stay here again if I am every in the area; as Ann's saying goes "come as a stranger, leave as a friend"; you only have to visit yourself to find this out.
