“Oh dear...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited Truro last year and came to this restaurant which we thought was quite nice. One year later we came again and very disappointed to see that it has gone downhill.

Service was slow, kitchen was slow, food was not the best, order was messed up. Even the waitress dressed like as if they were in a night club.

If this restaurant is survive then it needs to get back to basics and sort out the kitchen and waitresses.

“Terrible!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Absolute chaos. Never took our drinks order, service slow and left before our mains arrived having been there two hours. Shame as starters were lovely.

“Avoid at all costs”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Went on a friday night before going to the cinema as my wife and I fancied a pizza but everywhere else we tried was full (Our fault for not booking).
Shocking service, filthy tables, staff arguing with each other and customers, customers leaving due to service, food etc , poor quality of food.. all in all one of the biggest jokes of a "restaurant" i have encountered you almost have to laugh.
Avoid at all costs

“Terrible service mediocre food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

One of our groups meals had to be asked for 3 x and arrived over 5 mins after all other meals were on the table (both the starter and main course). All 6 of calzones were burnt, carbonara was minimal and only made from cream. We were never asked for anymore drinks, so went to the bar ourselves. The starter plates were not cleared until after desserts arrived, the cheesecake was frozen. Another couple waited 10 mins for service and left. Had to beg to get the bill and get out as quick as we could. Restaurant was only half full on a Saturday night. Avoid this place.

“Gone down hill since being sold”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Well this place used to be amazing. Always busy, and proper, authentic thin homemade Italian Pizzas, but sadly its been sold. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food is not the same. We were surprised that we walked in on a Saturday night and didnt have to wait for a table as the place was so quiet, but soon realised why. The traditional basket of homemade 'pizza' bread and olives on the table were not produced after you sat down, and the additional things on the menu were a bit of a give away. I ordered the warm dough balls and basalmic/oil dips but the bread was cold, not just room temperature but 'its just come out of the fridge' type cold. The authentic thin based pizza base was thicker than a dominos one and the spaghetti bolognese was greasy and cold. Such a shame.
