Dining in this restaurant is a thoroughly disappointing experiences. Staff were exceptionally rude, slow and inattentive to our table. Food was below average. I won't be back and I wouldn't encourage anyone to go.

We went here on 9th May for our 2nd anniversary, I was blown away with the food I received, I chose the water melon with feta and mint to start, absolutely stunning. For main I had the fillet with el Porto sauce, again, amazing. The whole experience was fantastic and we had a fantastic evening. I thanked the chef for his superb skills. Try it, it's a bit pricey but well worth it.

We tried this glass fronted first floor restaurant at the end of our stay and only managed to go there twice, one night after the other. On both occasions we had by far the best two evening meals of our 5 week stay on Gran Canaria. The interior is ultra chic and air conditioned with lavish lighting and a spectacular sea view and sunset. Our waitress from Romania was charming and attentive as were the other waiters and staff. This is a more formal eating environment than others on the beachfront and the bill will reflect finer dining. Incidentally, I don't remember seeing steak on the menu but the restaurant next door with a panoramic frontage is a steakhouse so if you are a committed carnivore, you will not have far to go. We could eat there time and time again based on our experience, funds permitting!

wanted to end holiday with a simple steak and a bottle of wine (or two) in a nice restaurant........soaking up the views. Pity we stopped at this restaurant. When the steak turned up we couldn't identify it as steak and had to ask to be sure. Couldn't cut through it or chew it. The accompanying mushroom sauce was like a very bad packet gravy (minus the mushrooms) and it was served with soggy roasted veges (mostly carrots) and cheap straight from freezer to plate chips????? Our 5 yr old's meal looked the most attractive (chicken nuggets and chips.....bad parenting but you should have seen what else was on offer). Staff didn't care about what we said - unbelievable. This meal was worse than the first macaroni cheese i made in home economics class when i was 12 years old. Never go here!
