Efficient check-in, with welcome drink proactively offered. Hotel was at capacity, but common areas did not feel too crowded. Rooms are quite small and dated, although satisfactory if you are spending most of the stay outside.
The infinity pool is stunning - great backdrop to the hotel, and good availability of sun loungers throughout the day. Gym facilities could be expanded and renovated. Good evening entertainment - blankets are provided to keep you warm outdoors, which is a nice touch.
We had a half-board meal plan - the food was of a high quality and good variety. Apart from the morning of our departure, wait time was 2-3 minutes for being seated (instant if choosing outside). We paid a €20/pax supplement to dine à la carte at La Toscana which is recommended for a change of setting (more peaceful surroundings!).More
