Second visit to the hotel and it is great. Food, facilities, price, location are all excellent.
Accommation is lovely but getting a bit tired. Bathrooms smell (on both visits) and have visible mould on the ceilings.
One major hate is the lack of non smoking areas around the pool and evening bar / entertainment area. Constant seat / lounger changes to avoid the smokers.
Would return to the hotel though as it is unusual to have such high quality facilities in a holiday resort.

Just returned yesterday. We had a fabulous holiday. Ye surroundings and whole ambience was very relaxed. We went to the buffet restaurant 9 out if 10 nights- it was the best buffet we’d ever been too. Lovely table cloths, beautiful food freshly cooked ( you may face to queue a bit but worth the wait). Staff were really friendly.
Location is great - a short walk along the coastal path and there are lots of good quality shops and restaurants. We did eat out once st lunchtime and once in the evening but we liked the hotel so much we didn’t go out as often as usual.
Staff were so friendly and made my 8 year old daughter feel really special. The prices of the cocktails and drinks were really good. 14 Euros for a lovely wine and very large G&t’s ( Hendricks) for about 8 Euros.
Pools really relaxing and plenty of sun beds to go around. They stop reservation of sun beds between 8 and 10am.
We’ll definitely look to go again.

Hotel is close to shops, 5-10 mins walk. Bed was great, rooms were cleaned properly, new towels every day. Breakfast was very elaborate. Dinner was good too, with a lot of variety every day. 5 different pools, different sizes and water temperature, no slides though. Staff was very friendly and always trying to accommodate us.

We preferred the bigger restaurant, because it seems to have a bit more choice in food (for instance the toppings for ice cream), although the hotel claims that the choice in food is the same. To eat in the bigger restaurant you have to arrive before 19:15 or after 20:30.

We went one day to Las Palmas center to shop, this is possible with a free bus ride from the hotel. The only requirement is that on the way back you have to show one receipt per person of something bought in the shopping centre (but that can be a small thing).

What a hotel !
Great location. Luxury setting. Excellent restaurants. Fantastic spa facilities.
Different pools catering to everyone's needs; never looks extremely busy.
One of the 3 best hotels in Gran Canaria.

Went from 5 star last year to 2 star this week. You don’t expect the corridor to your room to be blocked 24 hours a day by the towel exchange trolley.
Also air con not working, mini bar fridge warm and the shower trap does not run away properly.
Management fixed the air con promptly. Thank-you. They offered us an inferior room facing a wall as an exchange. Same as they offered the previous customer who reviewed on FB.
I asked to upgrade, offering to pay. However was told there is nothing available and that they had offered me alternative room. Very few British people here this year, I feel the other visitors are getting preferential treatment.
Oh just been to the pool bar for lunch. The staff were rude and slow.
Just got back to my room and the laundry trolley is still there. Raphael assured me management would have this moved to outside. Been to plenty 5 star hotels where they take you seriously and treat you with respect.

Dear Mr. Carmichael, we apologize again for the possible inconveniences caused. As you talked with my colleague, the department in charge proceeded to remove the laundry trolley. Our technical service control before each check in the room of the guests that it is in the correct condition but unfortunately sometimes can apear some technical issues. This way we would like to thank you that you have informed us regarding the Air conditioning as this way we could fixed it by the technical service during your stay to your satisfaction. Also as confirmed by you, the air conditioning has been fixed by technical service. Best regards,
