After staying in Meloneras and surrounding areas several times before, staying at princess, Baobab. We decided to try Villa del Conde because it was closer to the beaches, promenade access to plenty of shops and restaurants.
The hotel is beautiful, very clean. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
The kids club, I am told by my little one is it is fab, plenty to do.
The staff, well the service is amazing, the food is fantastic.
By the pools, plenty of sun beds because of the no reserving before 10am rule. Brilliant.
Few negatives; the hotel rules need updated, gentelmen were turned away when wearing dressy/smart shorts. The rules are gentlemen can't wear shorts in the restaurants in the evening but women and children can enter with shorts/beach shorts/ short denim trousers, Didn't seem fair. I don't have a problem with beach shorts but dressy shorts/short trousers are so much smarter to that of the beach shorts/denim shorts the hotel is allowing in the evening by worn by children and women.
There should be a no smoking policy or smoking area for outside dining, if you are not a fan of eating amongst smokers the only option you are given is sitting inside the restaurant. Again doesn't seem fair.More
