A large area stretching from the old garrison to the mod land . plenty of room to walk on beach or on the large grass area to the rear of the beach . plenty of parking available .ideal for dog walkers from October to may or on the grass areas at other times of the year .

Number 13, The Beach Lounge (Beach Hut) is a great base to spend the day, it’s 2 minutes from the ice cream van, the play area and the rock pool. It also faces directly onto the beach and sea, there are board games in the hut and a large sofa to escape the sun (or rain). There are sun loungers, chairs, a table and a parasol to place on the hut’s terrace with buckets and spades to use too.

East Beach is a lot quieter than the beaches that are down the road in nearby Southend, East Beach also has a large public car park and Shoeburyness train station is only a 5 minutes walk from East Beach. There are several pubs and a tea room nearby too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We decided to stop here and it was a great day
The parking was reasonable
I think £3 and we had from 2- midnight
We stayed till 7pm
It was clean, and lots of families were there
Enjoying the bank holiday

The kids loved that they could go on the beach and green field areas
It felt a safe okace and is used by lots f people by the look of it

We hired a beach hut for the day after seeing it advertised on Facebook. Beautiful and spacious inside, tea and coffee too, there were crab nets and buckets and spades for the kids to use - which is good because I can watch them by the beach pool whilst sitting in the hut with a cuppa!

GREAT DAY, High Recommended :-)

Visited very recently, one of my favourites so far in the country. Beach is mixed with sand and stone. Near the beach there are sitting areas, in my opinion it's nice to enjoy the view both during day and night. Car park is right next to the beach with various parking tariffs where timings also vary throughout the year. Overall a clean beach, there is also a wooden bay if someone just likes to dip their toe!!

We had a little family get away on a beach, and really enjoyed the day out.
Lovely long sandy beach with wooden tables and benches. Great BBQ facilities. Clean toilets and a huge parking lot.
This was fun for everyone!

was intending to go to Southend but it was such a lovely day the beach was full so decided to go further along the seafront to Shoebury East beach it is several miles further away but it was worth it. lots of benches to sit on and watch the boats in the distance on there way up the Thames to Tilbury or London ideal for a quite afternoon
