Hosting an american friend who enjoys castles we decided to visit Tretower. I must say I really enjoyed this venue - Great countryside, a lovely house and castle. Be warned you have to dodge some sheep to get to the castle but it was well worth it. The house is large and well preserved. The gardens are bursting with interesting fruits and flowers and I could have sat there all day. Well worth the entrance fee.

Fabulous let your imagination run wild. Great building and history. Would be a great setting for weddings.

Tretower court was a real find, we didn't expect the huge medieval building, it has been much restored, but well worth a visit. There is also the castle behind the court, and the gardens of the court are gorgeous. Well worth the entry fee, and little ones would love it.

We must have passed this place countless times, but decided to call in and were really glad we did. Cadw have done an exceptional job replacing timbers and dressing the rooms as it would have looked. Very informative person in the reception.

A nice place that is easy to find. There is a farm set into the remains of the castle and makes it quite unique. The court is lovely and is on 2 floors. There is a small gift shop, easy parking, drinks facilities and it is nice on a lovely afternoon to sit in the courtyard and have your drink.
